Well, if you break down the word, you get Wink and le'pot, so it's obvious that it means French pot smoker with an eye tick.
Okay, maybe not. I get asked a lot how I came up with Winklepots as a business name and it's actually my daughter's nickname. Her name is Peri and we started calling her Periwinkle and Winklepots. Yeah, I know, her nicknames are longer than her name, but whatever, parents are weird. I admit it.I'm secretly hoping she meets a nice young man with the last name of Winkle or Winkler and they get married and live happily ever after. Then have Winklepots of their own. I won't admit that when she announces her first pregnancy to Jim and me that Queens "Another One Bites the Dust" will be playing in my head followed by mwahahahahaha, SUCKER! :oP

Hmm...maybe if she marries a "Winkler" she can have a couple of kids named "Tiddly" and "Tinky". That...would be awesome :)
I love your shop name. In retrospect mine is desperately lame and I've had "namer's remorse" a lot lately.
LOL, at least when she marries, she can have another scapegoat to put all of her blame on... so she doesn't just keep blaming me. :)
