YouTube Tuesday!!

This one is about 7 minutes long, but totally worth it if you have the time to watch the whole thing. Conan went to Intel Headquarters to see "Intel Inside" and it's pretty funny, yet sad, because it's completely true! Yeah, Jim's cubicle is next to pole F6. Seriously, it's part of his Intel address and yes, it really looks that depressing inside. What's funny is that after this aired, Intel was a little embarrassed by the decor, so they painted the lower half of the walls something other than grey, at Headquarters, and tried a new cubicle layout that "failed." See, this is why interior decorators are important. There's something to be said for being functional AND pretty.

Yuck, that is pretty awful. Conan is so funny! I love how kids go there on field trips. That seems so cruel, but that is Silicon Valley for ya!

Poor Jim. No wonder he works from home sometimes. I'd go nuts in that environment!

DUDE...this is every place I ever worked, with the exception of a medical practice I worked in and when I worked at the Landmark Center in Boston. There, they at least tried to create a semblance of ambiance with lower lighting in the hallways and goldish decor tones. If I stood up in front of my PC I could see a portion of the Green Monster and some of the outfield lights at Fenway, which was about a block away. I know at some time, I sat in cubicle 1B.m14...fun times.
